Blogging Estar Guares

I saw Star Wars III: Revenge of the Sith yesterday, and I think that I, along with all the other Star Dorks out there can finally breathe a sigh of relief.

All's well that ends well, I always say.

I decided for two reasons not to get excited about going to see Episode III.
1. Some of my friends who don't know me for the Star Dork I am were already making fun of me just because I was planning to see it on opening day.
2. Fool me once, George Lucas, shame on you. Fool me twice, George Lucas, shame on me. But if you find a way to mess up the fall of Darth Vader, I'm off the bandwagon forever!

Luckily, Episode III doesn't disappoint.

The acting is good enough. The story is believable. On top of it all, I actually believed for a second there that Anakin might pull a fast one on us and not go all Darth Vader on me. Reason told me differently, but I got caught up in the story. What can I say?

All in all, I decided to dust off the ol' Star Dork membership card one more time. You know, the one they issued me in high school when I dressed up as Luke Skywalker for a pep rally to fight my friend Brandon (who dressed like Darth Vader) for supremacy of the Galactic Empire (i.e. 6th period).

I understand if you don't want to be my friend anymore.

Here's one for the Star Dork in all of us:
