Welcome to The Blogosphere
"Why not add to the fray," I thought to myself. If everyone has their own blog, why can't I?But what to write? I don't just want to fill cyberspace with aimless ramblings about the weather and how it makes me feel. I want a purpose. Meaning. People read things with meaning. They also read People Magazine.
I guess if I could combine something with meaning with something like People Magazine, maybe I'd be onto something. I'm not a celebrity hunter, but maybe I there's meaning out there in entertainment. Maybe what we read and write and listen to and draw and film and think about can touch something deeper than our pocketbooks and our blogs. Maybe they can touch our lives. Maybe people can touch our lives. Maybe you can touch others' lives.
So, maybe I'll write from my home in South Austin (or whatever coffee shop I may be renting a seat at) about that and call it wheatspot - evidence that meaning can infiltrate our culture and our lives from anywhere. If I don't like that title, I'll change it.

That was a good first post, except you didn't say anything about the weather or how it makes you feel.
